Crystal Festival in the News
Bringing the wonder of gems, minerals, and crystals to communities across the Mountain West — one show at a time.
A Story Worth Telling
Crystal Festival is an independent, family-run gem and mineral show circuit traveling the Mountain West. Founded on a love of geology, community, and the thrill of discovery, we bring together collectors, healers, jewelers, and curious families at every stop.
Each event is a one-of-a-kind marketplace where local vendors, rockhounds, and artisans share their passion with the public. From raw specimens pulled from Utah mines to hand-crafted crystal jewelry, every show is a celebration of the Earth's natural artistry.

Story Ideas for Journalists
Looking for a local angle? Here are the stories our community is telling.
The Rockhound Revival
Gem and mineral collecting is surging among Gen Z and millennials. Crystal Festival is at the center of this cultural moment — bridging old-school rockhounds with a new generation of crystal enthusiasts.
Small Business on the Road
Hundreds of small-batch vendors — many of them women-owned, family-run, or home-based — depend on the Crystal Festival circuit as their primary marketplace. Their stories are the heartbeat of every show.
Utah's Geological Treasure
Utah and the Mountain West sit atop some of North America's richest mineral deposits. Crystal Festival brings that geological heritage into community centers, fairgrounds, and event halls across the region.
Community Gathering Spaces
In smaller cities like Tremonton, Vernal, and Mount Pleasant, Crystal Festival is often the largest public event of the season — drawing families, tourists, and local economies together for a weekend.
Crystal Barista: Where Coffee Meets Geology
Our in-house Crystal Barista booth serves specialty coffee alongside curated mineral specimens — a quirky, photogenic concept that has become a fan favorite and social media magnet at every show.
Mining Tours: From Utah to Brazil
Beyond the festivals, we organize international mining expeditions to Brazil and Australia — giving enthusiasts a chance to dig for their own specimens at the source. A rare adventure travel story.
Have a different angle in mind? Let's talk — we're open to all story ideas.
